Organization XIII

Organization XIII is the primary antagonist group of the Xehanort Saga in Kingdom Hearts. They are a group of individuals without hearts named Nobodies. They seek to open up Kingdom Hearts and attain hearts for themselves, becoming whole again. No matter the cost.

Note: This thread covers the Original Organization XIII, and not the True Organization XIII formed in Kingdom Hearts 3.

Xemnas

Xemnas is Rank I in Organzation XIII, and their main leader. He was originally Xehanort, a pupil of the great scholar Ansem The Wise, who was investigating hearts. Xehanort discovered a way to separate a heart from a body, and persuaded his fellow pupils to do so. The bodies without hearts were turned into things called Nobodies, and once they were, they formed Organization XIII, created to form Kingdom Hearts and return the hearts to the Nobodies. He fights using energy beams, which he uses as swords and projectiles.

• Sends Sora flying with a hit

• Summons and throws buildings at Sora

• Takes several hits from Sora

• Blocks and overpowers Sora and Riku with one hand each

• Moves faster than Sora, Roxas, Axel, and Xion can react

Xigbar is Rank II within Organization XIII. Xigbar has power over space, and he uses this to freely redirect the projectiles fired from his twin Arrowguns, as well as to alter the battlefield.

• Quickly teleports a long distance

• Fires bullets that explode upon contact

• Fires a shot that spreads hundreds of smaller shots across an arena

• Creates after images when he runs

Xaldin

Xaldin is Rank III within Organization XIII. Xaldin has power over wind, and uses this to attack from the air, out of Sora’s reach. His primary weapon in combat is spears.

Spears

• Telekinetically controls them, and unleashes a burst of attacks with them

• Embeds a spear in an Organization chair

• Creates miniature tornadoes to summon his spears

• From high in the air, slams his spears in the ground hard enough to make small shockwaves

• Links his spears together, creating a giant dragon-like creature that shoots a large laser of wind

Speed

• Able to teleport numerous times in a row

Other

• Summons lancer Nobodies with a snap of his finger

• Creates a small wind projectile that he can alter the trajectory of at will

• Jumps really far away

Vexen

Vexen is Rank IV within Organization XIII. He cares not for the goals of the Organization, and merely wants to use their resources to conduct experiments, as they look past his nebulous morals. He has control over ice, and fights using a shield.

Shield

• Blocks a hit from Riku

• After a battle with Sora, still manages to block a hit that sends him a few feet back

Ice

• Attacks with numerous ice constructs at once

• Summons an icicle with his strikes

  • He can make bigger ones

• Completely freezes Sora in place

• Summons a series of ice needles to chase Sora across the battlefield

• Makes snowflake like projectiles to attack

• Uses ice as rotating walls to protect himself, sending them out occasionally to attack foes

• Creates a large ice construct, then makes it explode

Other

• If Sora stands still for too long, he can create a shadow Sora to fight for him

Lexaeus

Lexaeus is Rank V within Organization XIII. The strong and silent type, he merely engages in battle where his supervisors see fit. He fights with a giant battleaxe, and has control over the earth.

Strength

It should be noted that Lexaeus has the ability to increase his strength numerous times in the middle of battle.

• Hits Riku up to the ceiling of a room

• Nearly knocks out Roxas with a backhand

• Throws his weapon like a boomerang and catches it

• Makes the ground shake with his attacks

• Able to stagger opponents with some of his strikes

• Throws Sora into a pillar, summoning stone to attack him while he’s in pain

Earth Manipulation

It should be noted that it’s implied Lexaeus is sometimes striking the battlefield so hard, stones are flying out of the ground.

• Charges up an attack, then hits his opponent with a giant stone pillar

• Summons numerous stone pillars to chase after Riku

• Punches Sora into the ground while summoning a bunch of stone pillars

• Surrounds himself with stone pillars while attacking

• Drags his weapon across the floor, creating a row of stone in front of him

• Flies into the air, divebombing the stage and causing stone to erupt multiple times in a row

Zexion

Zexion is Rank VI within Organization XIII. Zexion specializes in the power of illusions, and as such, he doesn't have much in the way of traditional feats. However, the way he fights is by pulling you into an alternate dimension dubbed by many as "the book world", where he can alter the rules of reality and leave you to his will.

Outside of Book World

• Normally, he can't harm anyone, but after a few seconds of charge up, he can turn people into books, transporting them into the book world, where most of his attacks take place.

• It should be noted that while transforming someone into a book, he has an aura around him that repels attackers

• The books can be destroyed with enough force

• Summons a miniature cyclone strong enough to draw Riku towards it

• Can make multiple clones of himself to fight, though they can be destroyed by breaking the floating books in the arena.

Within Book World

• In the book world, there are 10 books flying around at any given time trying to attack you. Within one of these books is Zexion in disguise. Destroying his book will send you back into the real world.

• The books will fly at you at rapid speeds, dealing damage

• Has an attack where you need to guess where the book lands. Guess correctly, and you'll be able to attack Zexion's book. Guess incorrectly or get there too slowly, and a meteor shower will rain upon you

• Messes with Sora's battle menu

• Can summon a tornado of books to defend himself. He can also make the books circle around you to trap you.

• Summons crosses of fire.

• He can turn you into a book again, immobilizing you completely while slowly draining your health, though it can be broken out of through sheer willpower.

Other

• Summons energy projectiles from the sky

Saïx

Saïx is Rank VII within Organization XIII. A long distant friend of Axel, he turned on his morals and past friendship, seeking only to become stronger due to Kingdom Hearts. He fights with the power of the moon, allowing him to enter a Berserker state where his attacks with his claymore are enhanced.

• His slash creates a dust of wind that pushes Sora, Donald, Goofy, Riku, and Kairi back

• Clashes with Axel

• Overpowers Axel in his berserk form

• Blocks a fireball shot by Riku

• Sends Sora and Kairi flying with an attack in berserk form

Axel is Rank VIII within Organization XIII, got it memorized? Once a nobody who couldn’t feel anything, he became empowered due to his friendship with Roxas and Xion, eventually becoming a warrior of light. He wields fire and enhances his weapons, twin Chakrams, with his pyrokinesis to unleash powerful rapid attacks.

• Survives being hit through rocks by Terra-Xehanort

• Clashes evenly with Saix and Xion in quick succession

• Deflects an energy blast from Xehanort

• Creates explosions by throwing his weapons at enemies

• Kills Vexen with a snap of his fingers

Demyx is Rank IX within Organization XIII. Aloof and carefree, he doesn’t seem to care too much of the Organization’s true goals, merely tagging along with them and playing his guitar. He has control over water, which allows him to control water clone with his music.

• Creates many water clones of himself

• Makes explosive bubbles fall from the sky

• Uses water to dash forward and causes violent geysers to erupt from the ground

  • He can send geysers from a good distance

• Shoots explosive bubbles

• Summons geysers to defend himself from foes

Luxord

Luxord is Rank X within Organization XIII. He prefers to fight through games and trickery, rather than engage in a straight up brawl. When he challenges his opponents to a battle, he swaps out his health bar for a timer. Defeating him in his game within the battle will lower his timer, granting you better odds of defeating him. He specializes in time manipulation, and fights with playing cards.

Cards

• Makes Sora’s friends disappear into his cards

• Attacks using giant playing cards, and teleports between them

• Traps Mickey in a card by tricking him into touching it

• Summons enough cards to launch him into the air

• Turns his cards into energy walls that knock Sora into the air

Games

• Punishes Sora for losing by turning him into a die

• Hides himself in playing cards, attacking Sora until he finds the right one

  • Does this again, only on a much grander scale, taking roughly two minutes of real time to sort through all the cards. Winning this game heavily weakens Luxord

Marluxia

Marluxia is Rank XI within Organization XIII. A turncoat within the Organization, he lords over Castle Oblivion with the intention of using Namine’s powers to usurp Xemnas, and become the true leader. He fights with the power of flowers, which he can turn into beams of energy, enhancing his techniques as he fights with a scythe.

Strength

• Blocks an attack from Axel after dodging two hits from him

• Heavily cracks the ground with a strike

• Dashes in circles with his scythe, becoming invincible for a brief moment

Durability

• Withstands Sora hitting him with his own weapon

Speed

• Moves fast enough to create after images

• Rapidly teleports in quick succession

Energy

• Able to fire blasts of energy

• Phases through Sora and disappears right before he can hit him in return

• Creates small rotating vortexes of energy

• Slashes the ground with energy

• Summons big circles that hurt to stand in

• Follows behind Sora, spawning pillars of energy beneath his feet

• Knocks out Sora with some kind of sleeping gas

• Spawns a giant skull in the middle of the arena

• Spawns long vines that deal damage

Other

• Whispers something into Sora’s ear, spawning a number equal with his current level. If he gets hit that many times in the fight, he instantly dies.

• Whispers something into Sora’s ear, spawning a timer of “15” over his head. If he does not remove a health bar from Marluxia within this time, he instantly dies.

  • Does this again, but with 99 real seconds of time

Nobody Fusion

At the end of Chain of Memories, Marluxia fuses with a giant nobody creature, amplifying his strength.

Phase 1

• Slashes at the ground twice, creating a wall of energy

• Rams into Sora

• Flies into the air and lands, creating a shockwave

Phase 2

• Knocks all of the cards out of Sora’s command deck

• Creates harsh winds to keep him away

• Slams its scythe into the ground hard enough to make shockwaves

• Attacks with a multidirectional laser

• Creates a small explosion

Larxene

Larxene is Rank XII within Organization XIII. A cold sadistic woman, she only cares about winning, and seeing others in pain. She has control over electricity, and fights with electrified throwing knives.

• Destroys Elsa's ice wall with one blast of electricity, then lifts it into the air with telekinesis to surround Sora

• Creates large gusts of wind that knock Sora off a cliff.

• Heavily cracks the ground underneath her with a big attack.

• Her and her clones move at FTE speeds

• She can summon up to six clones to strike at once

• Using her clones, she viciously assaults her target, flies into them, then lands on top of them with an electric strike

Roxas

Roxas is Rank XIII within Organization XIII. Roxas is the nobody of Sora, granting him the ability to use the Keyblade. He fights for the Organization to understand who he truly is, and wonder what it feels like to have a friend.

• Knocks Riku to the ground with a strike, forcing him to unleash his darkness to defeat Roxas

• Nearly defeats Sora in a fight

• Lands without issue after jumping off a large building

• Creates a large amount of pillars of light, which damage enemies

• Able to fly, uses it to evade beams of light

Xion

Xion is the fourteenth member of Organization XIII (don’t worry about it). She was created out of the memories of Sora, as a failsafe in case Roxas defected. Since she is based on Sora, she can also use a keyblade. However, she is nothing more than a mere puppet, and thus pledges her allegiance to the Organization, even if she doesn’t want to.

• Reacts to and blocks Axel's chakram

• Moves so fast Xigbar loses track of her

• Clashes with Axel's keyblade

• Catches and stops Xemnas' lightsaber

• Gets up after being kicked by Xemnas
