OPP charge 33-year-old after injuring officer on 417
Press release issued around 20 minutes ago by Ottawa OPP
33-year-old Blake Godfrey faces scores of charges, including dangerous operation, flight from officer, stunt driving and unsafe vehicle.

I’d say his insurance is going to be crazy expensive….but it looks like that isn’t one of the things he worries about.

Does anybody know what actually happened? Officer injured is very vague. Did hi feelings get hurt?

Motorcycle driver struck him while taking off.

This is incredibly vague. Struck him with what, a pebble or a fist. There is no assault of a police officer on those charges

My understanding is the motorcycle knocked the officer down, so he struck the officer with his motorcycle.
You're right though, it doesn't show up in the list of charges, I wonder why they wouldn't include that.
Either way, dude is an idiot for fleeing.

The officer pulled him over, for allegedly passing on the right shoulder. Bike owner came to a stop and when the officer approached, said biker owner reportedly sped off, injuring the officer at the same time.
