Fucking hell, how kind to appoint him in the cycle that ends with an Australian home world cup πŸ₯²πŸ”«

Yea this news sucks for Wallabies fans, but hey on the bright side we never have good news so at least we’re used to it

We can kiss any remaining Bledisloe hopes goodbye as well

I dunno, Eddie was the last Aussie coach to win one.

I mean this year is clearly your shot. you've been building a few years, have a bunch of good young players, are getting more competitive in SR. have a new hotshot coach. ABs are still off form, have a coach on the way out etc.

Fuck off, stop building my hopes up, Bledisloe is as close to Groundhog Day as you could get being an Australian

I've been honest in my opinions towards this for a long time:

Let us win one goddamn test cricket series and touch the Trans Tasman Trophy, and then we'll start letting you have a shot at the Bledisloe Cup.

You've had that one for 30 years now, the Bledisloe streak is young compared to that.

Hopefully you get a new director of rugby like David nucifora and other positions in the ra system so we can have a trans Tasman final in 2027
