Weird to see some paint that out as Duhan's fault. Freeman was miles out of position and it forced Smith to blitz up, and Duhan to race across from half the pitch away.

He arrived just as the Pumas winger stepped back inside. It's complete heartbreak, but not on Duhan - or Marcus Smith either. That was on a few mistakes by Lions players, Freeman being well out of position only the final nail.

However, Duhan is 100% one of those players who others are watching & hoping to fail. Doesn't even have to have a particularly bad game. Certainly no worse than anyone else. Yet he's still getting it in the neck.

I spent the whole game waiting for Duhan to catch a high ball, I think I'm still waiting, never seen him so poor before.

Lions would have won if he hadn't been playing.

That's a little extreme, he had a bad game, he didn't throw all the intercepted offloads or knock on.

he had a bad game

Except he didn't.

In fact, he was pretty decent for the first thirty. He made a poor error in contact high upfield, but which eventually led to a Pumas try due to lack of Lions shape. Overall he was no worse than the majority of Lions on the pitch last night.

I get that Daly & Hansen looked lively, but they came on against a rapidly fatiguing side.

He did have a bad game. Can’t see Andy selecting him over Lowe when the tests start. He’s too much of a one trick pony. Zero aerial game and a massive deficiencies in defence
