Felt Bealham was as busy in D at the time.

Not a great look for Morgan and Earl. Perhaps they were hitting rucks / going for the poach. Would need to watch it back.

I think they might have been playing with Earl and Morgan in the wider channels where there's potentially more scope for turnovers.

Although speaking for Earl here, when he get's involved in the midfield defensively, I feel like more often than not he's there to chop or compete at the breakdown.

Overall the back row selection seemed geared towards disruption at the breakdown and wider carrying options as we saw the Lion's shift it wide fairly quickly ball in hand.
