I'm a big fan of Columbo, and usually watch an episode or two an evening, "Murder Under Glass" actually has Mako in it! It's from the 70s so it's not blatantly obvious but when he's talking you can close your eyes and kinda see/hear Aku!

I'm surprised they didn't show Aku breaking the 4th wall in the series. He is more than capable. When you have a biological ability to control time, why wouldn't this be the case?

There is one instance where he does sort of break the 4th wall, and it's when he calls out the formula of the show in the Jack vs Aku episode.

"Oh, put that thing away, Samurai. We all know what's gonna happen. You'll swing your sword, l'll fly away, and probably say something like 'l'll be back, Samurai!' And then l'll flutter off over the horizon, and we won't see each other for about a week. And then we'll do the same thing all over again."

The higher rating felt both misused and not taken enough advantage of. The penis joke felt way too immature for this show to make.

Also a missed opportunity to let Aku say 'fuck'.
