I had a 19cm sarcoma in my anterior tibialis muscle. In order to reconstruct my leg, the plastic surgeon took my right latissimus and some skin. I still have full ROM in the shoulder, but if I use my arm too much, move too large, or engage my core too much, the muscles surrounding the missing muscle become fatigued very quickly. And I’m right handed, so it‘s hard to limit the use of my dominant arm. So while our cancers were quite different, there’s some common ground in the aftermath. I wish you continued healing.
Thank you for sharing. One of our long term effects sounds similar. My arm also fatigues quickly. It can be frustrating during exercise. Wishing the best for you!
