I think for episode 200, the Sards should, and hear me out, bring back Ralph as a guest. I know this has been brought up before, but I think it would be interesting to see Ralph and Jake get along considering they seem to have similar preferences.
Also, it would be a chance to see them clash swords, fighting for the title of “best third chairman.” Jake would have an advantage because of his height, as he’s 7’1” (surprisingly tall [most people are much shorter than Adum]), but Ralph would have an advantage because of his stalky build (more power). They would fight for hours, sweat dripping from their brow, blisters splitting the skin of their palms.
Ralph would fight dirty, throwing punches, kicking his groin, and doing anything he could to survive; even if it meant touching his legendary (and handsome) mustache. Jake would be thrown off by this, as Jake plays by the rules. Ralph would catch him with several blows that leave him disoriented. Alex and Adum would watch Ralph’s strength in amazement. As they are not American, they did not grow up with real football. So they are unfamiliar with this kind of masculinity.
As Ralph loses energy, Jake would take the upper hand. Beating him by pure grace of the sword. He would parry one last blow from Ralph, causing his sword to go flying. Jake would twirl his mustache with pleasure (very handsome). He would press the tip of his sword against Ralph’s stomach, Ralph accepting his fate.
But alas! A third sword would come in, deflecting Jake’s sword. “Stop, you bloody bast-hard!” Alex would say, pushing Jake away from Ralph. Adum would be confused, due to his neurodivergence, he had lost interest in this relatively poorly choreographed scene (too many jump scares, not enough horses). “Wait, what is happening?” Adum would say. “I love him.” Alex would softly kiss Ralph’s cheek, Ralph would smile back at Alex.
“This is not cool! I won fair and square,” Jake would proclaim. “You know the rules, Ralph lost so now he has to fuckin’ die,” Adum would say blankly. “If you want to kill him, you’ll have to go through me,” Alex would stand with his sword in hand. Ready to fight Adum and Jake. Adum would pick up his sword, standing alongside Jake. “So be it!” They would say.
In that moment, a large beam of light would appear, blasting the four of them backwards. A figure would appear with facial hair that would rival even Jake. Who could it be? “Gentlemen,” the figure would say. “Prepare to get Stuckmanized.”
Chris Stuckman, having ascended to a godlike form through the power of Scoot floats down to the ground in a tiger print robe. “The real sardonicism isn’t the man behind the chair, but the normie masterpieces that we find along the way.” Tears would be brought to their eyes. They would stand together, hand in hand, watching the sunset together.
“So what are we, some kind of sardonic podcast?” Ralph would ask Chris Stuckman (most beautiful).
“No. We’re a family.”
Or something like that idk.

I was listening to a YouTube video today going over movies that got canceled and never got made. One of the movies featured was Justice League Mortal which would have been Directed by George Miller. Turns out, at least one script from the project was leaked entirely online. It got me wondering whatever known scripts have been leaked online. I know Colin Treverror Episode 9 script was also leaked.

(I got a little spoilery in the comments)
Just went into Highest 2 Lowest blind. I thought the trailer was good and had just recently seen the original Kurosawa film to compare it to. This looked like a new enough take on it to be an interesting "remake."
But wow it was so bad! Super obvious and clunky editing where you can feel when they splice alternate takes together, embarrassing dialogue and acting, awful and overbearing score. There are moments where they reveal new information that were so awkward and jarring I was laughing. Finally it completely changed the final message of the movie into something I thought was actually really gross and out of touch.
Then I got home and found this thing is getting pretty great reception. Sometimes I see things like this and feel like I saw a totally different movie. Iron Claw from 2023 is another one I thought was way way worse than the reviews it got. I know Adum recently saw and loved the original High and Low, would be cool to hear his thoughts considering his history with Spike Lee's stuff.

I used to watch ihe, ralph, and yms like so long ago i can’t even remember anymore. I watched so much youtube from elementary school to high school, but almost completely stopped watching in college.
I started watching more youtube when I got a job that allows for listening to whatever and I chose to listen to youtube videos while working. I still have that job, about a week ago my youtube feed recommended a video from ihetv. I did not know this new channel existed but I love it and listened to all the videos over a couple days. Then a sardoniscast episode popped up and I had forgotten all about the channel. I went through the catalog and saw the last episode I watched was number 13.
I have been watching all the episode from newest uploads and making my way down. It has been just the best for my job. It gives the best background noise while I do all the tasks I have to do at work or chores at home.
I just wanna say I love Jake. I was not familiar with him before, but the three of them flow off of each other so well and I really enjoy listening to what they have to say and their opinions. It has been helping me get through work and I look forward to listening to some more at my 3:00am shift tomorrow.

Hey lads, I listen/watch the show on YT Music and noticed there's a handful of episodes missing: 193, 192, 187, 176, 175, 164, 159, and 152.
No rush, obviously. I just figured I'd mention it in case Adam or anyone else who runs the channel sees this. Thanks!

In the funny games episode they talked about wanting a video that went over the differences in both version. This is a 7 year old video that did some of that.

I went in to this not knowing anything about Harvey Pekar or his work, and I was just left with this big ass smile on my face. One of the most unique and engaging biopics I’ve ever seen. Paul Giamatti is fantastic, as usual, where he plays the kind of everyman character that makes me go “oh man, he’s literally me”. It even has an Oscar nom for best screenplay.
My second favorite movie I’ve seen in the year so far (had to see it a second time this year to make sure), and just wanted to share with everyone and maybe see it as a future recc from the Sards.

I’ll be watching an American film, and halfway through I’ll think “wait didn’t Michael Hanake do this same concept before… but really well?” Idk, maybe I’m just a fangirl
