Good.

That relationship has needed to be changed for decades now.

This quote got me:

Physicians have focused on, “Can AI help me provide the best possible care to my patients?” I have yet to see any doctor ask, “Can AI help my patients find the best possible care, even without me?”

I am an ICU nurse. There are so many things that we do that have subjective elements in assessment that AI can’t even quantify.

Do you work in healthcare?

ICU might be different but lets not act like alot of physician work isnt algorithmic. In more routine situations, an advanced AI could probably do alot of good especially in underserved communities (theres just issues with liability).

Im also a nurse (Perioperative) and i seriously think it’s somewhat harder for AI to replace nurses and med techs than it is to replace your routine family med docs. Not saying we’re more important but as you know our jobs require alot more doing. With how algorithmic medicine can be, i can see a future where mid levels powered by AI replace general practitioners. Obviously this wont happen tomorrow but this is definitely a possibility in the future

That’s the whole idea behind the transformer architecture

It’s all good as along as the tech remembers which probe is oral and which is anal. Brought to you by Carl’s Jr.
