Bindings?
It’s 90° in the PNW but I’m thinking about skiing. Can’t decide between Pivots, Jesters or the color matched Salomon bindings. Decisions decision.

Just booked lodging for my first week for the season in December. Could have probably gone earlier with November but want to play it safe.

Just got a marketing email from 4frnt and they were advertising the new 4frnt Sinister Skis. They look fun, and from a great company. Has anyone been able to demo them? Any feedback/thoughts?

I’m a intermediate to advanced skier. I’m 199cm or 6’6 and weigh around 90kg (200lbs).
I mostly enjoy skiing green, blue and red slopes, jumping around and all around riding playfully. I like to go fast, but not fast like riding down steep blacks and carving. I almost never ride blacks as I don’t really enjoy the feeling of being down the mountain in a minute, I spend my time like i said jumping on snow piles, riding on the side of the track and having fun with the easier slopes really.
Last winter I actually started riding park more, something that I’m definitely going to keep on doing the following ski seasons, but will still ride mostly slopes. I expect to ride around 30%-40% park and 60%-70% slopes.
Since I’m on the taller side and skis are usually more made for one specific part of the mountain, so the most promising skis for my skiing style seem to be the 1000 skis, only problem is they’re relatively expensive and their largest size might be a little too small for me (186cm)
Are there any other skis that you guys could recommend that could suit my style of skiing best? I’m willing to pay anything up around 800 dollars max.

Heading to whistler this season and not sure if I should take both or just one of my skis. Or should I be looking at something different like a bent 100 or atomic maverick 95/100 or qst 98?
Any recommendations. Will mostly be skiing groomed runs. Skill level - advanced skier
Current skis Atomic maverick 88ti 160cm Qst 92 - 168cm

Going to surprise my husband for his bday with a snow trip. We live in a state that rarely gets snow. We also have a 3 year old. What places have a great snow / ski resort. Also what is a good time of year.
Thanks!

Hey there! I’ve just finished uni and am looking to do a ski season this winter (25/26). As I’m from the UK and do not have another passport, have left the Canadian visa too late…oops… and don’t have much hospitality experience, probably not enough to warrant me landing most jobs, I’m in a bit of a pickle.
As far as I know, my options are:
Try to land a hospitality-based job, such as a chalet host, in France. So far I’ve been rejected left right and centre.
Pray I’ll be 1/1000 going for the last 50 Canadian visas…not gonna happen
Apply for a job as a ski tech, for example, in France. I wouldn’t know where to apply so would love advice, and tho I don’t have formal experience, I’d say my engineering degree means I’m pretty equipped to quickly learn on the job and use common sense.
This is the big one where I want the most advice - ski instructor. I’d like to do an instructor INTERNSHIP to make back a small fraction of the huuuge cost, and I want to do a whole season, not just the 8 weeks many of these courses span. Now the passport becomes an issue. I can’t do one in Europe I believe as I won’t be able to get a work visa. My only option therefore is Andorra. Hoooowever, I don’t want to limit myself. Is there any way Europe could be viable? If I found one (I just saw an ad for one today) where I train at a resort oct-nov for basi level 2 so I’m fully qualified pre season, is there any way I can apply to instruct for a full season in Europe or Andorra and how? Or could I do any instructor level 3 internships?
Advice appreciated! If I can avoid spending the money on an instructor course would def be preferable!

What do you think of these ski for a total beginner (5 feet, 123 pounds) who’ll ski at the ski resort?

I’ll be looking for all-mountain skis in a few months. Not sure if it’s better to get skis that already come with bindings mounted, or buy skis alone and pair them with bindings (like Marker). I have Salomon S/Pro 120 boots. What’s the smarter move?

I recently asked you guys for first skis advice but quickly realised i needed my own boots and bindings
firstly i’m 189cm-190 tall wearing af1 so like 187 without shoes and my weight is in the 72-76kg range
ski level: gonna be honest, i like skiing off piste can ski through a not so dense forest, do a small shoot go under the lifts, but i won’t look so gracefull doing anything. As groomers stand in Eu i can ski red slopes comfortably. And can decently ski backwards on green to maybe blue slopes
My usual ski terrain is powder 40%, not so groomed groomers for the most part, and a little ski park action once every ride, I would love a ski that i can learn a 360 on and do some rails/ jumps with, but also ski normally
My current top picks are the atomic bent 100 for 400€ and the armada arv 100 from 2023/24 for 320€. the bents are 184cm and armada 186cm. i don’t want to get smth to big as it would make some stuff way harder to do, and high speed is not really my passion. Thought i would like not to buy my own boots for now i would love some recommendations for all these items including bindings. also my local shop had these: Ski K2 Reckoner 102 2025 for 400€ and bindings for another 140€/ some faction Faction Studio 2 24/25 for 220€ these are the bindings: Marker Griffon 13 ID Black

I just recently bought the Rossignol skis and I feel iffy about them. They seem too large, would the atomic do better. Ik they are both different types of skis so my question tot eh world of skiers is which would just give me the overall good time? Im an intermediate skier just looking for a good time

I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I saw a post sometime back with a painting of downhill skiers in the style of the famous Van Gough Starry Night. I’ve been searching everywhere to buy this as a painting but can’t find the original posts or see it anywhere. Can anyone help please?
