Also in what length cause the Kendo’s I had in 177s which I thought were an appropriate length so unsure of for something like the rustlers going for the 180 vs 172 (6’1”, 165-170lbs)

180cm without question. I have similar stats as you (6’1”/160-165lb) and use 181cm QST 99s as my daily drivers.
