Posted this in the main skiing subreddit and it was suggested it should go here. I have always regretted letting the skis I’ve skied on over the past 45-50 years go. Now on a quest to try and find K2 710 Comps, K2 Cheeseburger, and Rossignol Smash (70’s model) skis. No bindings , just the skis. Any advice how where I can look?

There is a dude in the suburbs of Denver that builds and sells furniture out of skis on Craigslist. I have bought old skis from him. He had quite the collection, in various conditions. I'd look for him and guys like him. They clearly have tabs on the local market and get all the old race and rental skis that would otherwise be trashed.

I think this is him -

Why?

There is nearly zero chance that anything that old exists for you to buy and is in any sort of condition that would warrant doing so and putting new bindings on them to ski.

Sorry, did not clarify. Have no intension to ski on them. Just want to mount them on a wall for display.
