u/SlingTVOfficial can I get a follow-up on this? I will gladly pre-pay 5 months of Sling Blue to save $30, but am not finding anywhere to do that in my account.

I think it's for new subscribers only so I'm planning on using a new email address since they like to make things difficult

Right now, I just have the $5/month "unlimited" DVR. The Sling chatbot says there's no way to add a day pass on that account because it's not new or returning. True?

Can I add the sports package including RedZone on a weekend pass? It looks like it would be an extra $2/weekend but would like to confirm. Thanks!

Passes is only for Sling orange. The sports extra for orange does not have RedZone.

So weekend pass is only for sling orange. And I can only get red zone if I subscribe to sling blue, is that correct?

Correct, RedZone is available with Blue + Sports Extra or Orange & Blue + Sports Extra.

No. Day, week and weekend pass are all orange, which does not carry USA. But we're excited for the season to start!

It's awesome to see these passes for the Orange package. If you offered a Blue version, it would appeal to viewers wanting to watch WWE Smackdown on USA, Nascar and other college sports on FS1, as well as Fox News. Go ahead and make a great idea better by offering Blue passes too!

I went to activate a day pass this weekend and couldn’t find the toggle to turn it on. Can someone share a link? I kept landing on the package and add-on plans but it didn’t show the daily or weekend options I was hoping to purchase. I’m in northern NJ/NYC market if that means anything. Thanks!

Worst scam ever. Can't watch any of the games we want to see. Sling is refusing a refund. DONT PAY FOR THIS SEASON PASS. Horrible customer service.

I may stay with Sling. Just curious: when is Sling going to offer ESPN+?

What advantage is there to having it through Sling? Consolidated billing?

Apparently Fubo and DirerTV sports package includes ESPN+ for free. I think ESPN+ will be eventually phased out and replaced with ESPN DTC.

ESPN DTC is free if you pay for cable subscription or streaming services that have ESPN programming

So you're saying the blue is same price as orange per month? What about existing customers who are paying 50.99 for blue. Can we change to 45.99?

The pricing you're seeing for Sling Blue is dependent on the local channels available in your area. This is a crucial distinction that helps explain the different rates.
- Sling Blue ($45.99): This is the monthly price for the Sling Blue package in markets where local broadcast channels like ABC, FOX, and NBC are not included. The service still provides all the other popular news, sports, and entertainment channels in the Blue package.
- Sling Blue in Select Markets ($50.99): This is the monthly price in select major markets (like Los Angeles) where you get local broadcast affiliates for ABC, FOX, and NBC as part of your streaming channel lineup. This is a more comprehensive plan for those who want their local news and sports without needing an antenna.
If you are an existing customer in a market with locals and are seeing a rate of $50.99 for Sling Blue, that is the correct price for the included programming.

Interesting idea. However, it would be more beneficial if this was 24 hours of watching. To spend money on a 24 pass when you factor in all the non-viewing hours, such as sleeping, stepping away from viewing, or any other non-viewing reasons, is really only 12hrs of actual viewing content. If Sling had 24 hr of actual viewing time, that would be an ultimate game changer, deliver exceptional value, as well as not cost Sling any more than the original 24 hr option.

Sounds promising.
