Possible to have it all?
My crockpot liner fell and shattered, so I've been looking at a new one. I cook huge batches of food, so looking for 8-10qt unit with ceramic insert. I've looked at a few like the Ninja unit that has a 'pot' style insert but they're all either way out of my price range, stainless steel $300+, or use non-stick coating which I can't use. Why isn't there a large capacity with digital controls for temp (not just warm/low/high) ect? Feel like I'm looking for a unicorn at this point.

Head to local thrift shops.
Be aware that there is no set standard for slow cookers, and some of them well and truly suck.

If cost is an issue, just buy 2 6-quart slow cookers and split them. They are like $30-40/each

Crock-Pot brand has several 8 qt. models. Hamilton Beach has 10 qt. models.

Okay- coming from experience- the round ninja pot is not that great. It doesn’t hold heat well, so expect to add 2-4 hours of cook time for everything. My pork butt took way longer than it should have- and fork tender roast by the time you get home is out of the question. Stick with the old style.

I’m totally with you on wanting the stone crock! That’s the whole entire point of it imo! Mine is a Hamilton Beach from Walmart it was like $60 five years ago. I just checked Walmart’s app out of curiosity and I didn’t see my Hamilton Beach, but the 7qt Crock Pot brand with the stone insert was an option there for like $40.
