I have never heard of Anton Taylor before this but using the elite police force to investigate and change someone for clear satire is an extreme violation of freedom of speech.
This is exactly what the National Party government did under Apartaid. Are the Hawks now the ANC's version of Special Branch?

Why does a suspended minister, who’s currently under investigation for being buddies with criminals, have access to the highest investigative task force in our country?…what the fuck?

"The incident occurred in June 2025, during which they confiscated the cellphone believed to have been used to record or post the TikTok video."
I believe the minister was
suspendedput on leave following the Mkhwanazi press conference which was in July?1

Ohhh fuck it's about Senzo Mchunu, I thought it was Ntuthuko Mchunu. This makes more sense, fuck Mchunu

Whoopsie. Someone hasn't learnt about the Streisand Effect. Using the Hawks to raid a popular TikTok content creator is the dumbest move.

In this case, it's not meant to bury the criticism, it's meant to intimidate others out of criticising.

Where can I insult Mchunu? I want to do my part as a South African, seeing as being suspended doesn't do anything.
BTW, Anton is now on my watch list, I will spend hours with his videos now.

Apparently, it is an act of terrorism to call the corrupt, corrupt.

Apparently he believed Anton was a journalist, not a comedian. I guess the jokes hit pretty close to home.

I'm curious what everyone thinks of Anton and his videos? I love them, him speaking Xhosa at his best friends wedding is the healing content this country needs.

When I first saw his videos I didn't realise he was mocking racist white guys since he kinda has their look and way of speaking nailed down. After I while I've come to realise he's a good guy making fun of them.

Knew him quite well during varsity days. Used to be a wild boy (as we all were), but he's always been a solid dude with an inquisitive mind.

What? “Racist white guys” can be identified by how they look? By how they sound? Sounds like you have the racist fundamentals down pat yourself.
