South Park is Gay, I was suicidal, and channel surfing in a hotel. Laughed good and hard. 3 years later, and I've been making my way through the entire show, start to finish. I'm in Season 22.

I hope you're feeling better and that those thoughts have disappeared. Hugs from Barcelona.

I never watched it as a kid cuz I was a bit sheltered. I tried to start with episode one a couple times and failed to get into it. I finally watched "Fishsticks" a few months ago after seeing a viral video of Bill Hader recounting how the episode was written. After loving that episode, I went back to the beginning and started watching the whole show. I'm up to season 23 now.

Cartman gets an anal probe. My friend and I, in 6th grade, saw previews for this new show for a while and stayed up late after the parents went to bed to catch the series premiere.
Never missed an episode since, almost 30 years later

After losing a game in Hearthstone to the Sword Of Thousand Truths, I went to research it and discovered that it was a reference to SP, I felt obliged to watch the ep. But I only watched this one, I decided to watch all the episodes much later

Starvin Marvin. I remember flipping channels and happened to find it. 1997. That’s crazy.

Can't remember the name of the episode, but it's the one where they're trapped on the school bus

I have vague memories of Scott tenorman must die and Timmy 2000 but the movie is the first thing I watched in full and im pretty sure it's why I love musicals.

Chinpokemon - I knew of SP before then, but never watched it until my mate had it on as a part of our work group at the time would constantly quote lines here and there. It was a bit difficult to watch (in terms of availability) as we did not have Sky back then so I had to rely on dvd's etc.

Th first one I remember watching is the Steve Irwin episode. “As long as I can get my thumb up his bum, I got him!”

I was in my 40s, didn’t think I would like SP, but was manipulated into watching the episode. Been hooked ever since.

Was in 4th grade, my best friend said I needed to watch this show that his big brother showed him. Made it a priority to be on comedy central at 10 pm to see the madness. First episode was cartman get an anal probe. Being in elementary school at the time, its funny thinking about the south park shirts being banned lol

I do! It was Season 1, Episode 13, Cartman’s Mom is a Dirty Slut.
It was playing on an old TV set up in the back of Von’s Comics in 1997 or 1998. I was a small kid who loved Spider-Man. I remember being shocked by Kenny getting brutally flattened by a train. Loved the show ever since.

“Tom’s Rhinoplasty” (S1E11). Had some people tell me “ You’ll love this new show called South Park on Comedy Central”. They were dead on. Been watching ever since.

Either "Make Love, Not Warcraft" or "Guitar Queer-O." (I watched them back to back, so I don't remember the order.)

Freshman in college. The pilot was appointment viewing for most in the dorm.
They coordinated a viewing event later in the season but that backfired pretty fast. I’m not sure but maybe it was all the Jew jokes?

The pilot when it first aired, or maybe it was the next morning before heading out to school, 8th grade I think.

Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo.
We didn't have Comedy Central on our channel package back then, but my step-sis had seen the show at her dad's. My dad didn't know about the show so when we went to the video store, he let us rent the vhs.

I'm 41 - I remember everyone in school running around sayin 'kick-ass' then found out it was from a new show, and started watching. The first episode I saw was S1E1, but there had already been a few episodes that had aired. I've seen pretty much every episode as it debuted.

I watched the pilot when it aired with my dad. Made it a priority to catch it weekly.
