i see folks argue about who the true “voice of reason” is in the show, and while we do see it switch relatively often, people usually have an answer to this. i’m a bit undecided and would love to hear from folks who feel strongly given certain plot points or takes throughout the show. i wanna know WHY! give examples! make your case :)

Did they edit Bloody Mary? Genuine question.

Rewatching the series and "Bloody Mary" came on and I remembered seeing [u/TheScribe86 post](https://www.reddit.com/r/southpark/comments/1n2hfh5/spotted_a_visitor_in_bloody_mary/) about seeing visitors in the episode when Randy is in the car and asks Stan to drive him to see the Bloody Mary.

When that scene came on, there was no visitor in the background...

I've rewatched the episode multiple times now, let alone that scene a dozen times and there is no visitor in that scene.

Did they edit this episode for some reason?

I cant think of a reason why they would take a visitor out of an episode but maybe that scene got edited and it just so happened to be that frame?

For what its worth i'm watching on Paramount through Prime which is all uncensored so far.

I know some of the kids characters sheet's are solely the character, but some of them are themselves too, and since it's not a made-up religion, I kinda think it's true, but if I'm wrong, feel free to correct me. I got the image off Google, but realized it said that while replaying the game.

The show doesn't always spell out which real life event is being parodied, and some are less obvious than others. Especially outside the US or watching years later.

I just saw the 2 pandemic episodes again. The way Randy taped the whole thing on a personal video camera made me remember a movie with the same pov.

Its been YEARS since i've seen that film but I rember it's about this guy filming at a party when a monsters attacks New York (?)

I honestly might find it by myself, but wanted to share this movie with the community and might spark some good memories with you guys as well.
