Made some spicy chili cheese dogs

Regular ball park hot dogs (we mainly bought them for my 4yo stepdaughter so going spicy there was a non-starter lol. Campbells Chunky Spicy chili (not that spicy but decent), added a bit of Flat Iron 4 pepper blend that night (and green ghost the next day when I had the rest which took my wife by surprise lol), ghost pepper cheese curds and the true star and my new favorite thing: Broken Taco habanero onions 🤤🤤🤌🤌🤌. These things are so good, I had em in spaghetti, casadillas and now chili cheese dogs. Best part is they even have an actual habanero in the jar! Next time I'd want to get a spicy brat or something but these were better than expected if a bit sloppy to eat!

Thanks! Just wish I added the green ghost when I had the dogs, really took the chili up a notch

Casadillos is such a great misspelling

This random gas station/grocery store place. I'll update when I can remember what it's actually called

That's more bowl chili than a topping chili it's too wet, ideally you'd want something thicker for a hotdog. Looks good though.

I definitely don't consider myself a Chili purist, but a brand as big as Campbells using FREAKING CORN in their chili is so wild to me. I've used corn before just to try it, but definitely not my thing.

Great looking dogs though! Both /r/Chili and /r/Hotdogs would probably like this crossposted.

It might be sacrilegious but I always knife n fork my chili dogs. Less mess and you can get an equal amount of everything on your fork.

Definitely would have been the wiser course haha

Why the onions look more boiled than caramelized?

They're like pickled or something (with habanero). They come out of a jar.
