Basketball Several WNBA players were denied entry into a nightclub after the All-Star Game this weekend. “We in the W (WNBA), and just got done with the All-Star game; we shouldn’t even be waiting in no line.”

I'm a hockey fan so if you say to me you're in 'the dub' (the w) I assume you play in the WHL

Representatives from a W Hotel probably has more pull.

I couldn’t pick any WNBA players out of a lineup, other than Clark, Reese, Griner, and Bueckers.

VIP is like influencer. You don't decide you're it. We'll let you know.

I looked up the 25 greatest players in WNBA history.

  • I was only familiar with 5 of the names
  • I only recognized 4 faces out of those 5 names
  • I only knew what city one of those 5 names played for

Every player in the WNBA should be writing hand-written letters to Caitlin Clark thanking her for raising the league's profile.

The majority of the nation would not recognize 99% of athletes in street clothes.

The majority of the nation would not recognize 99% of these players in their dub uniforms.

u/butterzzzy Jul 21 '25

Lol, they are trying to act like they are as well known as Steph Curry and LeBron. It's too funny.

"You know, not a lot of people know this, but I'm pretty famous." - Sam Malone

3

u/Tuscanlord Jul 21 '25

I watch the W sometimes. Just heard of this lady today though. Her reputation does not precede her apparently.

2

u/JohnCenaJunior Jul 21 '25

Then having to use the "im a human being" card when something bad happens or just avoiding fans and papz

2

u/pgsz Jul 21 '25

I always say this shit when they put the name of some “celebrity” on the screen in a commercial. Sorry, Kai Cenat, you really aren’t that famous.

1

u/rodpretzl Jul 21 '25

Yeah - you have to pay for tables at clubs that are worth getting into.

Paul McCartney and Beck were denied entry to Tyga's Grammy after-party at The Argyle in Hollywood.

Woooooooooooo 🔥

-4

u/queens_getthemoney Jul 21 '25

the people in the video are quite literally the center of wnba culture right now, this is a failure on the party organizers

If you work at a bar and you know a huge event is coming to town then you should be prepared for that. These employees are fucking stupid and if I was managing them I'd be furious.

7

u/bobtheframer Jul 21 '25

Huge event... it's the wnba not unlike a high school wrestling tournament or something.
