Basketball Several WNBA players were denied entry into a nightclub after the All-Star Game this weekend. “We in the W (WNBA), and just got done with the All-Star game; we shouldn’t even be waiting in no line.”

I live in Western Canada. They would only ever say the "dub". If I heard someone say "double-you" I would assume they were just making shit up.

You ever meet Norm Macdonalds brother? He's in Northern Canada.

I knew a few people who played in the WHL (not actually very good, they were out by 18/19 after being in and out of lineups) and one who refs in the WHL and has done U-17's in terms of international duty. Literally none of them ever say "double-u," the only time I've ever heard that was from people who were not familiar with hockey or the league itself. It's almost funny because I have to stop for a second and ask "you mean the WHL?"
