Jomboy clearly doesn't understand the rules of the sport and shouldn't be commentating it like this. He calls the first buzzer interruption a "wide open shot", but it's nothing close to that.

To shoot on goal in field hockey requires that you first advance the ball into the circle. The player with the ball was in no position to advance it and shoot unimpeded, and had no teammate in a good position to pass to.

The defense has that opportunity will covered. i'm surprised Jomboy didn't suggest she was open for a three pointer.

He should stick to baseball.
