Is there a place to watch only ping pong tournaments?

I think the WTT app is supposed to broadcast some stuff, same with their YouTube account.

It's been 24 years since Jan-Ove Waldner and Jörgen Persson made the finals of the men's doubles at the Table Tennis Worls Championship, and 30 years since Sweden last won a gold medal, but now the Chinese streak of dominance has ended. 19-year-old Truls Möregårdh was ranked 77 in the world before the tournament but made it to the singles finals as the lowest ranked player ever. We've got something brewing here again.

I was really sad to see Timo struggling with an injury and not have a chance at the WTTC title, especially since he seemed to be in great form before the injury. But I have huge respect for Truls, he played amazingly and is definitely going to be a big star in the future.

It's honestly amazing that he has never made it to a World Championship final considering how long he has been at the top of the table tennis world.

When I read the title of this video, I was expecting a lot longer of a rally. Just being honest.

Not familiar with table tennis. Is it required that they alternate shots in doubles? If so, why?

Because it's harder. Positioning is much more of a challenge, and this rally was won not only by the winner shot but especially by the nice setup two shots earlier that sent the opposite player to the far right.

You only have to hit the diagonal table square on the serve. The return and the shots after can be anywhere on the table.

I play table tennis. And what I mean by that is I hit the ball over the net sometimes and someone hits it back.

This is something else entirely

These guys play table tennis. You sound more like you're in my boat, playing ping pong.

Or as the Chinese say "Ping Pong"

The Mandarin word for table tennis is 乒乓球, or ping pang ball. Close enough.

Win the point.... And now we dance.

Beautiful inside-out forehand winner. That's my favorite shot.

Raise your hand if you didn't know doubles in table tennis was a thing.
