Maybe try follow curated user made Playlists instead?
I have several with a weekly/biweekly rotation, including emerging artist support playlist.
You can find them easily accessible here:

That’s a lot of work that I don’t wanna do, Spotify used to be good at giving me suggestions. We pay every month and they like increasing the price so I don’t know why they change up their services.

Yes i can understand that, but once you follow a couple of real curated playlists its actually not so much work. Not talking about playlists with 500+ songs but really good curated ones made by users not Spotify itself.
I have not run into the problem you are having, but i see many people complaining about spotify lately.
Hope you figure out something that works for you

Thank you, I do follow different playlists pretty often. My issue is that when I search one artist up, Spotify then keeps giving me music from that artist and it doesn’t stop

I seen many people complaining about recent(?) changes to how radio play works on Spotify now.
Mostly from non sub people that gets an endless interuption of commercials etc.
I would consider voicing my concern directly to Spotify, or maybe switch to SoundCloud/bandcamp/apple music or pirate bay :)

I completely agree with you. My only reason to be on Spotify is that the algorithm knows me very well now, plus I have spent a lot of time making curated playlists. I don't want to part with them.
These guys are making it like a social media which I absolutely hate. The pop-ups which come at random times, I don't like that. The daily playlists that used to get generated instead of that there is some radio or there is some theme-based music they have replaced with. I absolutely hate that.
The only thing that is making me stick to this platform is years of curated playlists.
