I’ve been really into techno lately and I’d love to refresh my playlists. I’m especially into minima/peak-time/hipnotic vibes (think Charlotte de Witte or Ann Clue style), but I’m open to all shades of techno — as long as it has a strong groove and solid production. 🎧

Any favorite tracks, albums, or playlists you’d recommend?

I would like to hear your thoughts/if you are experiencing similar.
I hope corporate reads this, because we could easily subscribe to Apple Music for cheaper.
My main reason to remain on Spotify was that the algorithm knew my tastes SO WELL. I drive A LOT, so I’m on Spotify a ton. But from one point on, Spotify has just given me a repeat of their sponsored songs (even though I pay $10 a month) and the algorithm is SO LAZY, that I just get a repeat of whatever artist I look for.
I rarely get good new music that isn’t being paid by the artist to disperse.
Point is, I’m getting tired of it. Get your shit together.

Hey Spotify team (and fellow listeners),
I’ve been using Spotify for a while and love it, but I feel like a couple of small changes could really improve the user experience:
Friends Activity Section in the Mobile App On desktop, we can see what our friends are listening to, which feels social and fun. It’d be amazing if this feature was available on mobile as well, so we can stay connected and maybe discover new tracks through friends while on the go.
Bring Back the Heart Icon ❤️ for Liked Songs The new "plus/add" button feels a bit bland and transactional. The heart was iconic, expressive, and gave a sense of personal connection when liking a song. It’s a small thing, but the heart symbol had a stronger emotional vibe than a “+” sign.

Ive been trying to find new music lately and despite still enjoying most of my (really long) playlist, Im always desperate to find a new song or artist to hyper fixate over. I really enjoy any genre but what I love the most is a good melody or when the artist gets creative and/or experimental with the track. I am a sucker for good production, i dont really listen to the lyrics but they are a good addition too.
This is my playlist:

or you could also send me your fav song of all time!

Sometimes I don't get to all the songs in my Discover Weekly before the list resets for the week, and I kick myself because I regularly find new songs I love using the feature.
Do the songs I miss out on ever return on later iterations of Discover Weekly or has my chance to discover them that way passed?

The goal is simple, i don't know what hyper pop is, so I'm going to listen to a ton of songs until i do and maybe create a playlist around it afterwards

Exactly what the title says. Also, I want to ask if y'all organise your playlists with melancholic songs in what manner?
I have a playlist with Hindi and English songs dedicated to. . . .someone, but I'm unsure about organising them. A random manner sounds unappealing. I thought about organising them based on the 5 stages of grief, but that's too meticulous. It's also hard to determine each song I randomly remember and decide to add falls into which category.

Famous songs reimagined through the elegance of solo piano. Perfect for studying, relaxing, or simply enjoying the beauty of instrumental music.

Inspired by the Grammy winning soundtrack to Midnight in Paris, I've tried to use the original tracks from the original sources, and extend with similar music.
Great for parties, coffee bars or just nostalgic or even anemoic moments at home.

Hey everyone! I’ve been curating a bunch of genre-specific playlists lately and today I wanted to spotlight math rock. I’ve already got abstract electronica and ambient going, and plan to expand into more weird and niche genres soon-think of it as a growing musical experiment.
I’m hoping to share some music I love and discover a few new tracks from you all. If you’ve got a math rock favorite (or anything that bends the time signatures), drop it in the comments-might end up in the playlist!
