Recommended mods

Hey! I wanna start fresh playthrough, didn't played for quite a long time and I basically never really finished the base game.

I'm looking for some nice mods that don't make game overly complicated (Frackin' Universe, mod might be good but changes are too drastic). Any recommendations?

I'm interested in any mods that look good & improve the base game, immersion. Thanks in advance

Elithian Races integrate well into the base game, whether you're playing as one of them or just encounter its contents out in the world

Can't go wrong with a couple new races to play as. Viera of Ivalice has a lot of custom stuff. So does the Felin mod. Arcana adds two new races, and some post game progression.

There is quite a few mods i could suggest, but im just gonna show this one. It silly and its simple, but this is by far one of my favorite mods I've ever used.

Well its not sentient. You summon it like you do the little hover cars you can buy in the base game but instead it has infinite flight duration and height.

Reminds me more of the van from the movie from Space Balls. Super fun. Makes it super easy to scour the surface of new planets you visit.

I think you'll enjoy using these two collections together actually, they bother offer plenty of content and are made to be used together, just be sure to pay attention to the second collection's description for optimal setup instructions!

There is the Frackin' Universe mod but do make backups of your universe before committing because it alters everything
