🚀️ Startup name: https://www.tapesearch.com/ - Search AI-generated podcast transcripts
🌍️ Location: London, UK
💡️ Elevator Pitch:
Today I'm introducing Tapesearch 📼️. Tapesearch is a search engine that allows you to search 🔍️ within AI generated transcripts for your favourite podcasts.
🤔️ Problem
I listened to a lot of Podcasts in 2022 and I’m sure many of you did too. Speaking as a Data Scientist, podcasts are amazingly rich in useful information but very poorly curated. If you wanted to find an older episode where the hosts mentioned a particular phrase, you’d have a hard time finding that exact episode unless those words were specifically in the episode description. There is so much information locked up in opaque audio files waiting to be found.
🛠️ Solution
Tapesearch fixes this by searching within thousands of transcripts generated by the latest AI technology. We are currently searching the most popular podcasts in iTunes, with over 250,000 transcripts from over 2,000 podcasts so far, and growing the database by thousands of episodes every day in multiple languages.
📜️ More details: Currently in the discovery stage. Adding several thousand new transcripts every day, but looking to accelerate this in the next few months
🥅️ Goals: Market validation. Is this something people would find useful? Is there something missing?
🧑🤝🧑️ How can r/startups help?: 1) Feedback - can you find what you are looking for quickly and painlessly? 2) I have also made a POC that allows transcripts sourced from YouTube to be added - would this be useful or would it add noise? 3) Share with folks who might find this useful

Hello to everyone, thank you for reading my first ever social media post.
Startup Name / URL: Pace Diagnostics, inc. www.pacediagnostics.com
Location of Your Headquarters: Monrovia, CA, 91016
Let people know where you are based for possible local networking with you and to share local resources with you: We are in Los Angeles County, CA.
Elevator Pitch/Explainer Video: We are a Biotech company. Our vision is to create breakthrough point-of-care (POC) diagnostics to revolutionize improvements in healthcare for better living. Our lead products are Tuberculosis Triage/Screening Test, Lung Cancer and Pancreatic Cancer early detection tests.
Medical bill is the number one reason Americans file for a bankruptcy. A bad health can prevent one being a productive member of a society. A bad health can drive a person into poverty for good. A bad health is a domino effect as the loved ones (caretaker) will have to take worktime off to take care their sick loved ones. One even has to sell of their life saving, their homes to pay for the terminal health care cost. The doctors and nurses certainly have their limitations caring for their patients equally.
The number one death in the world is Tuberculosis. It is about 2M a year which most occurs in third world countries. However, if we Americans can help them to have a better health, then we, as a taxpayer, our government would not have to overspend taxpayer fund to assist these nations as bad health cause them (their nations) to stay poor and unable to perform daily work. Then they would depend on America (Americans) for assistance for life. In addition, our country has roughly 40M of first-generation immigrant residents. They have latent TB that can complicate their health once they reach their golden age and when chronic illnesses kick in. We strongly believe better health (physically and mentally) condition would make a better productive nation.
Lung Cancer is a number two death after the heart disease in America. The most misperception and misconception that Lung Cancer caused by smoking and second-hand smoking. That is very much untrue. Only 15% of smoker population has lung cancer. The rest causes by bad environment i.e. air pollution, stress, food consumption, and bad / altered genes. The recent year data show that more non-smoker young women (mid 20's and 30's) got diagnosed with lung cancer.
What life cycle stage is your startup at? Validation and clinical trial.
Your role? A Co-founder
What goals are you trying to reach this month? We are trying to raise TB and Lung Cancer awareness and obtaining more fundings to achieve the upcoming expensive clinical trials' expenses. Please use our website if you want to contact us for any questions. We have videos to explain how these dx tests work.
How could r/startups help? Self-educate and awareness are very important. Can this comment to be voted at top in this section? Cancer can be very soon a number 1 death over the heart disease in America.
Share how our community can get a discount:
Our products aim for efficient and economical purpose. These economical test cassette and strip renders a result in 30 minutes or less, with no lab or technician required. It's very similar as the self-test pregnancy one can bought in the supermarket or at 99 cents stores. It is very possible to have it in the market for 10 dollars or less and patients would not have to wait for doctors who are waiting for insurance approval for invasive procedures (X-ray, CT Scans, and MRI scans).
Thank you.

Name: PerSOUSnal Chef www.PerSOUSnalchef.com
Location: NJ
Pitch: Get your own private chef for just $99! Every week have breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared for a family of 4. You shop, we chop. 15 meals prepared to the point where you just combine, heat and eat. Clients provided super simple instructions for finishing dishes.
Details: time is your most valuable commodity in life. Shopping for a week takes an hour. You probably spend 10+ cooking every week. Why let a meal delivery service take away your quality control when you can save practically the same amount of time while controlling food quality, choice and cost. Shopping lists provided every Thursday. Substitutions are fine and we have a guide on what works and what doesn’t. Everyone can now afford their own private sous chef!
My role: everything for now.
Goals: 20 new clients before EOM. Marketing is my biggest struggle as most of my time is consumed by recipe prep, creation, shopping list creation, and prep for our current clients. Currently bootstrapping this as I’ve got a model that scales profitably. 20 new clients per month is a game changer for us!
Discount: sure, we can do 33% off for startup subs, but we currently only serve NNJ. DM for a code (I’ll make it when I get home)

Startup Name / URL: Automata | https://www.getautomata.app/
Elevator Pitch: Free iMessage/WhatsApp/Telegram marketing automation
More Details:
- This product lets you automate and send unlimited messages using your personal messaging apps.
- It is primarily for anyone who wants to bulk message but can't afford something heavy and expensive like WhatsApp Business API.
- It's a desktop app that connects to your iMessage app locally. For WhatsApp/Telegram, it runs a local instance.
- The upside to our approach is it is cheap for us, and for you. Your private data does not leave your computer (compared to a cloud solution). The desktop app pulls queued outgoing messages from our server, which is simply a dashboard + API endpoint for connecting with CRMs/Zapier.
- The downside is messages do not get sent if your computer goes to sleep/offline.
My Role: Solo developer
Life Cycle: I've made a beta product that only does iMessage and rolled it out to a few users. Building a waitlist for WhatsApp before I roll that one out.
What goals are you trying to reach this month? Get more beta users.
How could r/startups help? If you're interested, I'd like you to use it and give me some feedback.
Discount for r/startup subscribers? There's a generous free tier. But if you help me test, I'll give you 20% off for life for the paid tier. If I ever lower the price in the future, your price will go lower. Will never go up.
