Stencil Mona Lisa
One of my works. When applying paint, the stencil did not adhere tightly to the surface, so it turned out imperfect.

Dust it lightly with this to hold it down.

For a good result I use masking tape. I fix the stencil along the edges. In this work I just put a frame on top. Thanks for the advice though.

Is this a laser cut stencil with a halftone? I’m trying to get this sort of technique figured out.

What kind of a stencil is this? I've never seen anything like it.

I feel like this type of process might work better as a screen print?! Have you ever given that a shot??

I am communicating through a translator and perhaps Google has translated your sentence incorrectly, so I did not quite understand you. In the photo there is a stencil, if that is what you mean.

He was asking wheter you ever considered, trying this stencil with a classic printing process and liquid paint instead of using a spray can.

In my case, this is simply impossible, since I make stencils mainly from paper. Spray paint is ideal for my stencils.

Wow! You said its laser cut. So you might cut other materials like pvc with it?

Do not under any circumstances cut PVC with a laser!!! It emits very harmful chemical compounds. PET plastic is perfect for a laser. I sometimes use it, but it is more convenient and cheaper for me to work with paper.

How did you make it? I'm assuming it wasn't cut by hand?
