You could take a long term loan in Lira, directly change those in USD at the current exchange rate. Then later when the Lira tanks, buy back the liras you owe at the new very low exchange rate and repay your creditor.

If you’re right, the lira will become worthless and you will be able to buy much more liras for the same USD, keeping some of it as profit.

That’s essentially what George Soros did when he broke the Bank of England.
