I don’t get to make it to many shows these days , but my annual work vacation is the same week and I’m so stoked to make a solo trip up to NC to see Castle Rat! And I’ve been a huge Howling Giant fan for years so that’s fucking AWESOME!! Didn’t even know they were opening. Anyone else going? I can’t wait!

I was wondering if anyone has received their order from Duna Records for "Live In The High Desert" ? I ordered a limited edition Sunburst vinyl in late July and have heard nothing since. They gave no indication of release date and don't seem to have a contact email address.

Hey everyone,

I’ll be in Los Angeles from September 10 to 17. I don’t have a car or license with me (exchange student for summer period), but one of my biggest wishes is to see Joshua Tree and do that desert drive.

I’m really into the desert rock scene — Kyuss, Eagles of Death Metal, Queens of the Stone Age. Earlier this summer (June 20) I was at QOTSA show back in Chicago and Madison, and on Sept 10 I’ll be at the EODM show in LA. This music means a lot to me, and since so much of it comes from Joshua Tree, it would be amazing to finally visit.

Problem is, I don’t have my driver’s license with me, so I can’t rent a car. If anyone has tips, or if someone is heading that way during that week and wouldn’t mind me tagging along (I’d happily pitch in for gas, food, etc.), I’d be super grateful.
