That is diabolical. I don't even want to imagine closing that 😭

I hate orders like these, they're always such a mess to close. I just always hope they know i tried lol. But I do wish people who order all the veggies with extra of all would just get a salad so it's easier on us.

I honestly think they underestimate how much is already on a sub so they do extra not realising what they’re ordering

I have to order like this bc the subway closest to me is stingy on the toppings. Half the time they never add extra anything. I order from them very rarely anymore.

I can understand that, I have heard how some subways are very skimpy with meat and veggies. I'm lucky our subway is in a small town so we dont have have to worry much about that and we're able to do good portions for pur customers so when people ask for extra it ends up like the photo above lol.

Did you still only give the standard two napkins?

That’s gotta be a prank right??

I'd follow those veggie directions precisely. That sub would get no more than eight pieces of olive, banana pepper, green pepper, tomato and jalapeno. I'd weigh out the other veggies, then close up the sub. All those dressings would go in cups on the side.

This is what I do. I’m not rewarding gluttony šŸ˜‚

u/Nowicki2019 Apr 27 '25

I'd hope so, that's what the customer wants

3

u/nofaves Apr 27 '25

Oh, no. When we veggie subs in front of customers, we don't follow the corporate instructions. The normal build is six tomatoes, six pieces of onion and green pepper and olives. We often follow the tomato count, but there are at least a dozen pieces of those other veggies, if not more.

Customers don't order the veggies by number on the app; they only specify "more."

Id do veggies to the exact amount but sauces I'd still put on it and let the customer deal with their own decisions lol

For the prices you are charging this is a must. Just make it the way the customer wants, that's what you get paid to do

If I didn't notice how different the line was set up I'd think you were at my store. We get a very similar order every so often.

Jesus are they trying to drink their sub??

ive never worked at a subway why do y’all stress about closing the sandwich? If the bread tears through the seam it’s still an edible sandwich? Is it like a rule that it can’t? Like I’d prefer fitting the ingredients with torn bread over doing less ingredients with perfectly folded bread. (I only get turkey and cheese I’m just curious don’t come for me)

-1

u/Fiminate Apr 25 '25

Because the ingredients don’t stay? Not that hard of logic to follow.

3

u/Great-Lake-0440 Apr 25 '25

You literally wrap itšŸ’€I wrap burritos and even when they are messy asf the wrapping keeps it together. If it falls apart on the customer thenšŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļøthat’s what they asked for. If they like it that way who cares

2

u/Fiminate Apr 25 '25

Yea, usually doesn’t work that way in customer service. Most people are dicks about their food.

u/RavenRosePoe8816 Apr 26 '25

Actually yes it’s considered unsalable if we can’t close the sandwich

2

u/ReddieStone Apr 25 '25

So glad I don’t work there anymore šŸ˜šŸ™

u/Known_Following_4923 Apr 29 '25

That has to have been ordered by a welfare baby mama.

1

I guess they don't like the SOT as much

1

u/19lyds Apr 25 '25

Oink Oink!

This order is typical of what happens when piggies learn to type!

1

u/kazunyarii Apr 25 '25

at least they didn’t ask for extra meat lol

1

u/Kindly-Sherbet-1397 Apr 25 '25

There’s zero way the bag wasn’t dripping what the actual fuck… But I need you to remake one and tell us how it tastes lol

1

u/Fiminate Apr 25 '25

This is when you say ā€œSorry, I can’t put extra of everything because I won’t be able to close the sandwichā€

1

u/Nowicki2019 Apr 27 '25

No you don't, you can't just refuse

1

u/Fiminate Apr 27 '25
