He didn't explode it with his ass, he was tired of hearing the safety valve hissing so he tied it shut with a rag. That's what made it explode since the excess steam in the boiler had nowhere to go.

True, it was never confirmed that this was the case, but often times that’s how the recollection of history goes. Although an interesting fact I didn’t include in that original post is that it is widely accepted historical fact that the fireman in question was most likely an enslaved man.

Oh my god, this post getting attention 5 years later is crazy to me. I still see people making posts of it. Funny to think that now I’m the dressing old timey guy more than the train facts guy.

No one uses capitalization like they did, I feel like they copy and pasted, there typing feels to good to be true,

?? He capitalized the name of the train, which is the proper grammar for a name, and not an odd thing to do
The rest is just after periods and beggining messages, which your phone keyboard will do for you

No some people just know how to communicate and use the English language. Let me fix your comment’s grammar:
No one uses capitalization like he did. I feel like he copied and pasted. Their typing feels too good to be true.

Ok but like … does this guy with the train facts have a YouTube channel or something … (I don’t have tinder but that’s like way better than some cheesy pickup lines)
