Super Round 2026 in Christchurch.
How does everyone feel about Super Round looking like it’s going to head to Christchurch? Does this mean potentially there will be another team join?

Super Rugby Finals Format
Does anyone have a decent explanation for how the ranking/seeding of the semi finals will work? I've seen some discussion here about it, read the description on the super rugby website and I've seen a video giving a good but basic description of it. It seems pretty simple, as long as the top 3 all win, or if only 1of the top 3 loses.
But how does it work if the unthinkable happens, and all top 3 teams lose? The description on the website says that the team drops a seeding if it loses. So, in this scenario, the Chiefs make it through as the lucky loser but;
A) do they drop to 2nd seed and the Hurricanes go to 1st, the Reds go to 3rd and the Blues go to 4th?
B) Do the Chiefs go back to top seed, because the next two teams are knocked out and the Hurricanes, Reds and Blues bump up to 2nd, 3rd and 4th seeds respectively
Or C) (Bonus option) The Hurricanes, Reds and Blues go to 1st, 2nd and 3rd, with the chiefs coming in as tge lucky loser as 4th. This option makes the most sense to me, but doesn't line up ar all with the the Super Rugby format description.

Looking for Blues vs Chiefs tickets
Hi all,
I'm looking for tickets to the game at FMG this weekend. If anyone is selling seats with a decent view of the field I'm interested - not too keen on the seats remaining on the website. Thanks!

Good luck buying Chiefs V Blues tickets.
Has taken us approximately 20 minutes to buy two tickets as Blues site not even working and Chiefs crashing every time you select your seats!
Good luck to everyone trying to buy some 🤞

Am I right in thinking… Chiefs Vs Blues two weeks in a row?
Have been looking at the new Super Rugby play-off format and from what I’ve read, the Chiefs could potentially play the Blues two weeks in a row?
New format:
After Round 16 - A three-week Finals series: playoff format involving the top six teams on the overall competition table with qualifying finals, semis and final as follows: Qualifying finals – 1 (Chiefs) v 6 (Blues), 2 (Crusaders) v 5 (Reds), 3 (Brumbies) v 4 (Canes) with the top-ranked team hosting Semi-Finals – three qualifying winners plus highest ranked loser: Teams re-ranked with 1 v 4 and 2 v 3 Final – top-ranked semi-final winner hosts the other semi-final winner.
Scenario 1: So, if Blues were to beat the Chiefs, would the Blues then play the Chiefs again the next week as Chiefs were the highest ranking loser and Blues came bottom of the league, thus 4th place in the semi final?
Or
Scenario 2: Would the Chiefs become highest ranked loser ( number 4) and Blues then move into number 3 spot playing number 2 spot?
Seems odd that we could beat Chiefs in the QF only to play them again in the SF.
Interested to hear everyone’s take on it.
Cheers!

Being a Hurricanes supporter is painful at times.
I imagine this is what an abusive relationship is like. So good most of the time but you are just waiting for the next blow. But, I can change. I just have to enjoy the rugby and not constantly need that feeling of winning.
Can't loose to the Brumbies in a quarter again.
