We had the same in Oregon. They even had their own real estate agents. They would buy fairly nice homes with shops or large garages and grow shit tons of weed until they maybe got shut down, laundering the cash they made, and sending it back to China. They even had a list of favorable state/governors which didn’t prohibit the investment in real estate by foreign entities.
You guys got weed while my country only has fucking battery plants from them. Of course the government was paid off to allow them to operate like at home with no safety regulations. The crew checking why the workers got sick in a battery plant got sick themselves just HOURS after entering. Something like 200000% (yeah, x2000 he maximum) of some chemical in the air.
