LPVOs, being essentially a traditional scope, are generally significantly heavier than red dots or most other fixed power optics

Well yes I am well aware of that fact, though, this tube seems to be overbuilt such as military contracts prefer in order to meet the harsh durability concerns of combat. Thus it’s probably heavy as shit . Mark me traditional but I’d rather have an acog RMR if we’re gonna measure durability to magnification ratio. I think LPVOs are awesome but I have yet to see one that maintains a perfect zero when it experiences a significant impact unlike the acog and most red dots which do just fine.

I prefer acog like you but Atacr would withstand damn near anything. Its what socom runs

The video Lucas Botkin posted about the VCOG supports the claims of LPVOs being well built and sturdy but after heavier impacts regardless of condition they would lose zero quite commonly
