Question Question on safariland holster

Does this fit a gen 3 and gen 5 g17 and can I use a Holosun 509t with it or is it too big

Got a gen5 17 with a 509 and it fits fine albeit it’s milled not MOS.

I know yours is milled so it sits lower do you think it would fit a regular mos

Okay so I’m dumb. I’m not sure what you’re worried about fitting but it will work. The hood does contact the top of my optic but barely. The slight contact won’t cause any issues plus the hood is removable. Check the above link for pics but I couldn’t get a good shot of the contact

Yes I want the hood to fully cover the optic

It will cover the optic. It folds down from the front and is pushed out of the way when you draw. Send it

I run an RCR on my MOS duty gun with the same holster. The RCR is dimensionally similar to the 509, I think it may even be slightly larger. It’ll fit.
