Anybody else shoot competition? Sometimes I’ll run full kit, some days just a belt. Curious how the tactical / practical minded shooters equip during matches as opposed to the USPSA nerds with the dedicated match belt :p

I bought a brand new Safariland 6354RDS Cordura holster off of marketplace. It's currently multicam, and the rest of my setup is black multicam, but for the price I got it at I couldn't pass it up. So I'm looking to get it matched, but I can't seem to find any solid answers.

RDR Gear does not re-wrap factory wrapped holsters, so they're out, and I really don't want to rattle can it.

I was thinking about using black rit dye. I'm sure the few fde plastic parts would take it just fine, but there's mixed reviews online saying the cordura doesn't absorb the color evenly. I'm not looking to totally cover the multicam of course, just change it from greens/tans to blacks. I'm also a bit concerned that the hot dye bath may warp the holster, or even melt the adhesive on the cordura. What do you all think the best option would be?

I want a bump helmet but I can not for the life of me find a decent helmet that is 7 3/4". All I am finding are bump helmets that are bike helmets with rails bolted onto it.

Hey fashionistas! I'm running a second hand Tasmanian Tiger chest rig and trying to find any way to distinguish between the two colours, without NV capabilities. Product sites are of no help unless I'm absolutely blind. No markings, stickers or tabs of any sorts.

It would seem like the non-IIR version is a bit shinier or lighter in colour and zippers and elastics maybe a tad more brown, and but I can't really tell for sure. I do have gear to compare to, of which I know two, Särmä TST and Savotta, to be NIR-protected and they seem to be the closest match.

I'd like to order a back panel for the rig but there's no point in hauling the wrong one all the way from Germany. So any help would be greatly appreciated!

I recently got my hands on the ONYX 45 blower from Supergum –

After using it, here are my impressions:

It completely changes the experience of wearing a mask for a long time –

Curious if anyone else here has tried using blowers like this?

My PC theoretically has 6 available pouches for mags as there are 2 internal pouches in my LBT that can fit Pmags or a radio. Plus the 4 pouches you see in the front. I also have a belt with 1 rifle mag pouch for a total of 8 (7 on body, 1 in the rifle). Now this changes if I want to use a radio which will downgrade the count by 1. I was thinking of purchasing the BFG 10 speed triple placard as seen in the second slide as a way to plus up on extra ammo if needed. My rationale is that if I don’t need extra mags the pouches will slim down to be almost flush against the esstacs. I could also use them to carry a multitool/pens/rite in the rain etc. I understand I am already at the 210 round basic load so would what I’m thinking be pointless due to the extra weight or does this have some merit?

How hard would it be to re-dye this from ranger green to a tan color?

I'm sure most of us know that exit pupil = objective lens diameter / magnification. Yet, this does not seem to hold true for 1x prisms or LPVOs, where the exit pupil is still substantially smaller than the objective lens diameter.

How is it that the exit pupil can be smaller than the objective lens diameter, yet the image hasn't been magnified at all?

Looking at their site I see a regular and a TAA compliant for $100 more. My question is, is this worth it to spend the extra $100 as someone in the US or no? May sound a little idiotic but don’t want to drop an extra $100 if it’s unnecessary.
