I bought a brand new Safariland 6354RDS Cordura holster off of marketplace. It's currently multicam, and the rest of my setup is black multicam, but for the price I got it at I couldn't pass it up. So I'm looking to get it matched, but I can't seem to find any solid answers.
RDR Gear does not re-wrap factory wrapped holsters, so they're out, and I really don't want to rattle can it.
I was thinking about using black rit dye. I'm sure the few fde plastic parts would take it just fine, but there's mixed reviews online saying the cordura doesn't absorb the color evenly. I'm not looking to totally cover the multicam of course, just change it from greens/tans to blacks. I'm also a bit concerned that the hot dye bath may warp the holster, or even melt the adhesive on the cordura. What do you all think the best option would be?

Any differences in material, weight, and ballistic properties from the MSA TC2000 and MSA ACH?

M12™ Heated TOUGHSHELL™ Jacket is a jacket I just found, heated by a Miluwakee power source. I was wondering if anyone has experience using these types of electronically heated outerwear? Gloves, hats, jackets, shoe warmers, handwarmers, etc., and if they're viable for tactical uses?
Is the technology far enough along that these devices don't burn out / break / not generate enough heat to be worth the price / hassle? Are you better off just using warmer, higher quality clothing made of materials that are more durable and suitable for tacticalwear? Maybe there's at least 1 jacket on the market that's very high quality with one of these heating elements inside. Is it worth it?
Any recommendations and discussion is welcome!

Is it worth trying to paint some gear a different color wanting to change up from my black belt and multicam black pouch

It’s an SB Tactical brace, but it is not the HKPDW due to the cut out on the mounting piece. What the f is it? Older model maybe?

STILL A WIP! Not quite the full kit but thought I’d show the majority of it off. It’s definitely a budget kit but I like it so far, lots of customization done to most of the gear.

They are too small to hold any molle pouch, and there is Velcro inside

I want a bump helmet but I can not for the life of me find a decent helmet that is 7 3/4". All I am finding are bump helmets that are bike helmets with rails bolted onto it.
budget ~150-200ish

The look to be made by the same manufacture (not sure who). I also know Liberators are available in Liberator II and Liberator III. Does anyone know the difference?

How many of you clear your house like an absolute dork? For me its almost daily. My wife adds the needed stress factor by yelling a bunch of nonsense about “helping with the kids”….Anyways, get your reps in kings💪

If you had to pick anything other than 6354, what would it be and why?

I’ve been seeing people run those smaller backpacks that molle to the back of plate carriers/rigs. If you have one can you tell me how you like it? My main concern is that if you need anything you’re going to have to take off your armor. Why not just wear an assault pack or something instead?
UPDATE: Thank you all tons for the feedback. Many of you have brought me up to speed on these packs uses and needs. I have decided that the Haley Flatpack is the way to go for me. Went from thinking they were silly to realizing the advantages. Thanks all!

I'm in the Canadian Infantry, and I'm currently split between finding a good choice to replace the issued day bag the CAF issues. There's nothing wrong with it; it's a good bag, but It's very bulky and doesn't pack well. As well as that, I want to have a bag I can use outside of the military. I was recently looking at the Crossfire CF1, but it's too small for the winter and specialty roles.
I need an Assault Pack that can fill any role in an infantry platoon (Rifleman, Leadership, Grenadier, LMG, GPMG, AT) and that can expand if need be to accommodate for unexpected conditions such as weather, equipment, etc. my requirements are:
I am fully aware that a one-size-fits-all approach isn't possible, but a one-size-fits-most is what I am looking for. I am willing to compromise on some of the requirements, but for the most part I do need something along these lines. Budget-wise, I don't specifically have one, as long as it is reasonable for what you're getting.
Many thanks.
