Kit Bag
featuring the new Nocturn Alpha mount. This thing is awesome, insanely lightweight at 2.8oz (vs G24L at 5.1oz) but rock solid lock-up. Makes the G24 feel like a dinosaur. @whohauntsyou for NVG/ebike/tacgear shenanigans, Dirtbike in the Dark 101 is currently being edited

Rhetorical Hyperbole Never feel safe leaving the basement, but the dino nuggies smell too good to resist.
How many of you clear your house like an absolute dork? For me its almost daily. My wife adds the needed stress factor by yelling a bunch of nonsense about “helping with the kids”….Anyways, get your reps in kings💪

I was sent this by mistake and can’t figure out what it is.
No tags at all on the inside. I don’t think I’ve seen anything that has five points of attachment like this does.

Clothing Thoughts and recommendations on heated tactical wear?
M12™ Heated TOUGHSHELL™ Jacket is a jacket I just found, heated by a Miluwakee power source. I was wondering if anyone has experience using these types of electronically heated outerwear? Gloves, hats, jackets, shoe warmers, handwarmers, etc., and if they're viable for tactical uses?
Is the technology far enough along that these devices don't burn out / break / not generate enough heat to be worth the price / hassle? Are you better off just using warmer, higher quality clothing made of materials that are more durable and suitable for tacticalwear? Maybe there's at least 1 jacket on the market that's very high quality with one of these heating elements inside. Is it worth it?
Any recommendations and discussion is welcome!

Airborne TAP work in progress.
I decided to pull the trigger on a Mayflower Velocity System Jungle buttpack in lieu of my Molle waist pack and I’m glad I did. It’s got three canteen pouches of its own plus a roll top under the upper flap.
Two double mag pouches (probably replacing with HSGI double decker tacos), a SAW ammo pouch with 6 thirty round PMAGS, and a dump pouch. Undecided if I’ll trade the dump pouch for an IFAK or put Molle webbing on the assault pack for the IFAK (thinking the latter option).
FYI - This is my work in progress as a minuteman kit but critique away!

Weapons/Tactics For the homies wondering what might happen if you fired a shotgun the wrong way
For the folks wondering what would happen if i had to fire the gun in my last post. This is what happens. S&B 00, same grip, same foot positioning and posture. Push/pull technique ftw. Still have all my teeth 😬

Molle 2 3DAP pouches
Setting up a 3DAP, what is the best pouch to fit on this single molle row? So far im thinking 3-4 m67 pouches as mini GPs, but curious if there’s something better.
Also are these larger spaced molle strips like they look? In my head it looks like I could fit 1 m67 pouch, with dual molle columns, in one of the bags molle rows, but unsure if it’ll fit or if I’d need to space them to split the molle row stitching

Gear/Equipment Thoughts?
STILL A WIP! Not quite the full kit but thought I’d show the majority of it off. It’s definitely a budget kit but I like it so far, lots of customization done to most of the gear.

Recommendations General Purpose Assault Pack Suggestions
I'm in the Canadian Infantry, and I'm currently split between finding a good choice to replace the issued day bag the CAF issues. There's nothing wrong with it; it's a good bag, but It's very bulky and doesn't pack well. As well as that, I want to have a bag I can use outside of the military. I was recently looking at the Crossfire CF1, but it's too small for the winter and specialty roles.
I need an Assault Pack that can fill any role in an infantry platoon (Rifleman, Leadership, Grenadier, LMG, GPMG, AT) and that can expand if need be to accommodate for unexpected conditions such as weather, equipment, etc. my requirements are:
- Relatively small; must be able to be stuffed inside a rucksack
- Has a Beavertail (Or is Beavertail Friendly) to shove helmets or just anything in general.
- Modular and versatile and expandable for different roles
- Can hold multiple 200-round 7.62x39 ammo cans
- Can hold sustained fire equipment for GPMGs.
- Can hold 84 mm Carl Gustav Ammo as shown
- Can hold a M72 comfortably
- Radio & Hydration Compatible
- Compatible with LBEs/battle belts, this is a nonnegotiable
- Ideally Multicam
I am fully aware that a one-size-fits-all approach isn't possible, but a one-size-fits-most is what I am looking for. I am willing to compromise on some of the requirements, but for the most part I do need something along these lines. Budget-wise, I don't specifically have one, as long as it is reasonable for what you're getting.
Many thanks.

Dangler Molle to Molle
Hi, what would be the most efficient way to attach the dangler to the PC? Taking in count there's already a frontal pouch + mag occupying the frontal Molle

Surefire M640 U or DF Turbo?
Anyone have experience with both models? The U has higher lumens while the DF Turbo has higher candela. Wondering what peoples opinions are of both for their respective use cases. I’m just a civilian who will mount on a home defense rifle. Live in a big house so will probably be more indoors use case if needed, but also have a lot of land right outside if for some reason I needed to take the gun outside the home in such a situation.
Leaning towards the U but not sure if outdoors performance will leave me disappointed. Furthest line of sight outside is about 200 yards to the back of property line.

Gear/Equipment Possibly dumb question
So I notice that a lot of plate carrier placards are only holding about 3 spare magazines, but if I have a bigger chest rig like a Helikon Tex Guardian and a plate carrier with buckles is there really anything stopping me from using that kind of like a placard?

Does anyone know what these are for?
They are too small to hold any molle pouch, and there is Velcro inside
