Question Recs for Carnelian Bay

Recently moved to NorCal. Im taking a quick mid-week trip to Tahoe for a few days. Staying in Carnelian Bay. Will be traveling with my dog. Any recommendations on where to take her hiking (beginner level) and swimming? I’ve briefly stayed in Tahoe City in the past (it was lovely). Any dog beaches you would recommend?

Waternan's Landing in Carnelian Bay is one of the few Tahoe beaches that permits dogs. Others are the small beaches reached by hiking on the East Shore and Kiva Beach in SLT.

Dogs can be on trails everywhere. Download the AllTrails app to find other hikes. I like the Stateline Fire Lookout in Crystal Bay and Picnic Rock off 267 from Kings Beach

Dogs aren't allowed on the beach at all, just on the park grass (leashed)

There’s literally a dog beach to the right side when you get there with signs

The only real dog beach is in Carnelian Bay, at Waterman's landing next to Garwoods. The rest of the beaches either don't allow dogs or require leashes.
