Sometimes I have the impression that

the ones that find Mr T boring are the ones that find reading boring

I find u a bit too harsh. I believe they don't care - or they just don' t try

Thing is, the intuition of Truffaut (I think) who spoke of a киноязык (a cinematic language) was to the point. T. created/invented a language of which the first prerogative is silence. Then, he bent words to his will, the way he raised bodies in the air in his films. To watch a movie of T is just like reading a book.

But as they say Pro captu lectoris habent sua fata libelli, i.e. "According to the capabilities of the reader, books have their destiny"

Reading can get boring, just like Tarkovsky. Ennui is a tough cookie.
