Hey folks! My visa got rejected for the reason stated: "Documents required for obtaining Georgian visa or for extending its validity are submitted unduly". My husband's visa was approved.
1. What does this really mean? Are the documents of incorrect size? or the documents are itself not enough ie like the funds etc?
2. How long should I wait to re-apply?

Hi everyone. Planning to visit Georgia for the 2nd time for a week, 1st time was back in 2023 with a tour package from Dubai, but this time decided to DIY to see the places we missed the 1st time. Any suggestion and recommendation as we are booking a hotel in Tbilisi's Old Town where we have noticed some street tour operators can be hired for a day tour of places of interest? Is it safe to get this operators?

Hi everyone,
I’ll be traveling to Georgia soon and was wondering about the best way to exchange money when I arrive. Is it better to bring cash and exchange at the airport, use exchange offices in the city, or withdraw directly from ATMs with a foreign debit/credit card?
Any tips or recommendations (including fees, safety, and which option usually gives the best rate) would be really appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

I see this so often, garbage trucks collecting garbage from cans at f*cking 5-7pm during literally the busiest part of the day for driving, blocking and holding up the whole damn road, is there a reason to this besides complete incompetence of Tbilisi waste management department?

Hi,
I've found a very poor, extremely thin and wounded kitten in Mestia, and I'd like to help him. However, can't take him with me in my guest house, I leave Mestia tomorrow for Ushguli, in fact, I won't stay in the same city for more than 2 days in a row...
I gave him water and tuna, but I'd like to do more for him (if I could I would have taken him with back to Europe and adopt him as a new family member).
Is there any local cat shelter/association, etc. which could take care of him?
He was on the main street of Mestia (a bit before Lushnu Qor Restaurant), with a open wound on his throat, seems very weak...
I know it seems stupid and it's impossible to save any stray animal you cross, but if anyone is nearby and could take care of him, it would be really, really kind for him (I post that here as I didn't find any sub reddit for Mestia, but if there if, could anyone relay this post?)
Thanks from the bottom of the heart for him

I am looking forward a say to store the fluid cleaner for my contact lenses, searching for airport approved bottles for 200ml or less (8oz or less). I am not sure what stores in the city carry items like these.

Hi everyone,
We’re traveling to Tbilisi at the end of the year and planning to spend 2 nights in Bakuriani for a family ski trip. Since the roads can be snowy, we’d like to hire a professional driver with snow-road experience and a 4x4 vehicle for the trip.
Does anyone have recommendations for reliable drivers or transfer services? Ideally someone safe, family-friendly, and comfortable driving in winter conditions.
Thanks a lot for your help!

Im a resident of UAE and we traveled to Tblisi on 30th August. We rented a car and were then soon asked by police at airport for documents.
The car was rented on my wife's name. But she did not want to drive so I took over. I did not have a physical license. Just a digital one. Which is accepted in UAE.
The police fined me 500 GEL and my wife 700 GEL. But they said if we can present our license to the station in 10 days (by 8th September), they will remove the fine.
If there is any such possibility, could someone please help me out. I will express courier my license to you and pay you for your expenses to go to the station for me and presenting my case.
I would always be in your debt. I feel this fine is not fair and hence I am going through this to fight it.

Yeah, that's a weird question, but do people do cotton candy in Tbilisi? Like as in a candy store, in a park, zoo or perhaps in Mtatsminda?
I would like to satisfy the sweet tooth of my girlfriend, but all I can find as candies are Churchkhela shops and stands.

Hi! I live in Spain and work as web developer, the life here is good but the taxes are too high. I love traveling and I was thinking about move to Georgia (country) and work there as I heard about low taxes and good quality of life.
Have anyone experienced it before? Any recommendations? I heard the process to be self employed is easy and taxes are very low.
Edited: I’m aware that Georgia is not like Spain in quality of life but low taxes for me are game changer

So I have been recovering from an ankle fracture over the past 5 months and I have reached the point of my recovery where I don't need crutches anymore. I'm a foreign student and taking the crutches back home with me is going to be inconvenient so I wanted to ask where I could sell them. Any specific website or place that would take it from me. Or even if anyone on here wants them for a cheaper price. They are axillary crutches which go under the armpit. I also have a foldable walker.
