It’s the only way to beat him, expose him and go down to his level, it will infuriate him.

Can't wait for Newsom to start calling out his personal features - laughing at him for his obvious comb-over, commenting on his little baby hands, commenting about how he got his looks from his mother.. who looks like she got hit in the face with a fucking shovel, commenting on his weight.

Its the only thing that really gets under his skin. I can't wait.

He already did the tiny hands.

u/FalconX88 1d ago

He already went with the tiny hands

DONALD IS FINISHED — HE IS NO LONGER “HOT.” FIRST THE HANDS (SO TINY) AND NOW ME — GAVIN C. NEWSOM — HAVE TAKEN AWAY HIS “STEP.” MANY ARE SAYING HE CAN’T EVEN DO THE “BIG STAIRS” ON AIR FORCE ONE ANYMORE — USES THE LITTLE BABY STAIRS NOW.

"What's Donald Trump smell like?"
"Depends."

Spray-painted safety cone orange.

Cankles = congestive heart failure

u/BurrrritoBoy 1d ago

Especially the gaping nussy

7

u/moaterboater69 1d ago

Normally I like nussys but Trumps is repulsive.

2

u/Chrontius 1d ago

"Man, have you seen those tiny little baby hands? It's like Deadpool over here. No wonder he thinks he has a big dick!"

1

u/justageorgiaguy 1d ago

Maybe it'll get under that hand makeup too!

1

u/Fickle_Penguin 1d ago

Remember it's not newsom it's his account. His media specialist is amazing

2

u/Amiro77 1d ago

Sure, but that goes for basically everything a person in such a position does. He doesn't write his own letters or reports either. He surely has to approve of everything that is posted in his name though.

2

u/Fickle_Penguin 1d ago

Yep that's what I'm saying. She is doing an amazing job.

Cringe, tbh

Like 12 years too late.

13

u/Chrontius 1d ago

Better late than never. Sure would have been nice if the DNC got off their collective asses and ran someone compelling back then, though.

34

u/tgt305 1d ago

Well certainly taking the high road has worked fuck all

2

u/real_nice_guy 1d ago

I think of all the things that have done damage to us over the last few years, the "they go low, we go high" bullshit has done some of the most. Wish she hadn't said that.

6

u/trojan_man16 1d ago

The only way to beat fascism is by ridicule.

You have to expose how incompetent, weird and pathetic they are. Make fun of them, ridicule them. It undermines their authority in the eyes of the populace.

There’s a reason why authoritarians go after any satire or criticism against them once they fully have control.

No. This isn't beating anything. It's just entertaining to watch for whoever is fed Newsom content by the corporate algorithm.

What Newsom is doing is just performative.

Name calling, and mimicry is just click bait. It's how Trump literally got elected the first time, "insult everyone" becuase they're were too respectful to defend themselves.

Fox parroted his insults, people believed it, so voted for him. Newsom insulting Trump might get Newsom elected president, but that does nothing to fix anything. That just elects Newsom president. Likely to the benefit of the same companies that have bent the knee to Trump already.

If Newsom wanted to actually defeat Trump, instead of just getting to be elected the next President, he would do the following to actually "beat" him:

1) Insult his worth to force a confession.

Instead he's insulting him to look good. With all the publicity Newsom has, he COULD say the following:

"Everyone knows Trump wasn't rich enough to be invited to Epstein Island, that's why he hasn't released the documents. They show he's poor."

Trump would release them in a week to prove he's rich.

Trump is easily manipulated. All narcissists are. Just tell them they're great at whatever harm you want to cause, and they will cause it for your attention. If you have enough money and no morals like Russia or Saudi Arabia, Trump loves hearing your flattery. It's all flattery about ruining Democracy, but it's not like Trump cares about that more than himself.

If dictators can do it, why not Democrats?

Newsom has a lot further to go than just name calling if he actually wants to fix anything. Until then, he's just borrowing from the Trump playbook to perform better in our broken system of government.

If our system of Government was wrestling: It doesn't matter if Trump is The Rock, and Newsom is John Cena, I want actual wrestling again, not the manufactured reality TV WWE bullshit it has all become.

Just because Newsom has changed his intro music doesn't mean any match he wins against Trump is real. His followers just feel like it is - the same as Trumps.

u/kingofshitmntt 1d ago

What you suggested won't "beat" him either. He's made a fuck ton of money since he started running 10 years ago. All this shit is fucking desperation and stupid at the end of the day. People need actual policies that will help people, not whatever the fuck this is.

5

u/Chrontius 1d ago

People need actual policies that will help people, not whatever the fuck this is.

We HAVE policies, but until the social clout of the clowns is undermined we won't be able to DO any of that shit.

6

u/Rmans 1d ago

100 agree!

My point was more that if what Newsom was saying was about being effective, he's saying the wrong thing.

Do I think him actually saying what I proposed would do much to change things? No. Likely not for a while. But it would certainly take some wind out of Trumps sails instead of doing absolutley nothing.

Which is what Newsom is doing. Nothing.

9

u/Chrontius 1d ago

What Newsom is doing is just performative.

Performative won two elections. More, if you count Reagan.

2

u/Rmans 18h ago

That is the point I made, yes. He's being performative to win an election. Not make things better.

2

u/Chrontius 15h ago

Can't make things better until you win an election, it seems.

2

u/Rmans 6h ago

True. But likewise: just winning an election doesn't mean things will get better.

1

u/Chrontius 4h ago

Indeed, but it is still a prerequisite.

4

u/FalconX88 1d ago

Likely to the benefit of the same companies that have bent the knee to Trump already.

Sure, but that part is way less problematic than the whole fascisms

1

u/Acceptable_Fox_5560 1d ago

You guys are just looking for entertainment. Parody tweets won’t stop fascism.

1

u/jld1532 1d ago

Oh, so what do you propose?

1

u/Magrowl 1d ago

Policy? The redistricting that's being pushed in California can be a major success but I guess that's a lot less exciting for the social media voting bloc. Y'all say "go low" but "playing dirty" on policy is what matters not just mockery.

0

u/jld1532 21h ago

I don't know about you, but I can chew gum and walk at the same time.

0

u/thundersaurus_sex 1d ago

I know what you're saying, but like, it actually will help. Trump supporters are genuinely just kinda stupid. They follow him because he's their idea of a strong man, and taking the high road by criticizing his policy has zero effect. They are just flat out too dumb to understand. Mocking and ridiculing him on their level is literally the only way to hit back with any effect, it makes him look weak in their eyes. Not overnight or anything, they're in the cult too deep, but constant mockery that Trump can't stop will eventually erode his stature.

3

u/Acceptable_Fox_5560 1d ago

They’re not stupid; they’re racist, homophobic, misogynists. They don’t support Trump because of his tweeting style. They support him because he executes the culture war they want to fight.

1

u/Y0tsuya 1d ago

It didn't work during his first term and it won't work now.

1

u/Chrontius 1d ago

Democrats need some politicians who are ready and willing to throw hands. Rhetorically, I mean, but also if somebody tries to assassinate this candidate, literally needing to be ready and willing to throw hands isn't out of the question either.

Call everything Republicans do communist, get Republicans to say communism is good (believing the opposite of what they did before is apparently in vogue with them these days), and then proceed to institute Universal Health Care (which they'd call communist)... if we somehow make it through the next 1-4 years.

u/Ja_Rule_Here_ 1d ago

You realize this is his last term right? Nobody needs to beat Trump again…

21

u/SadLeek9950 1d ago

That’s only for suckers and losers.

20

u/culturalappropriator 1d ago

You have more faith in democracy than I do, he’s hinted about a third term more times than I’m comfortable with.

Oh, and the midterms are coming up, presidential approval is one of the key deciding factors.

10

u/No_Guide_6770 1d ago

TRUMP 2028 hats all in his gift shop and White House..

5

u/loneImpulseofdelight 1d ago

Yes, but he must be sent to a Ukrainian gulag in 2029 January right after Newsom takes charge.

6

u/OcculusSniffed 1d ago

I bet you believe that "dictator for a day" crap too

0

u/Ja_Rule_Here_ 1d ago

I mean if he goes that route there also won’t be an opportunity to beat him. There’s not really a scenario where there’s another fair election and Trump is in it.

1

u/A_Seiv_For_Kale 1d ago

Tell that to Trump
