It's utterly depressing that "good political strategy" in the US is a massively sarcastic social media post from someone in the Democratic Party.

I'm not saying I don't agree with it, because I do, fuck Trump, but it's just a really sad state of affairs when this is what your politics has regressed to.

It changes how people perceive things in the run up to the 2028 election.

There will be hundreds of millions of people deciding whether to vote, and who to vote for.

Saying it doesn't "change anything" is willfully obtuse.

That's understandable. I totally get it. Just be aware that if presented with two options and one of them is a Nazi, voting for the other one, even if they don't fulfil your ideal, is the pragmatic choice right now.

Not really, I don't live in a swing state. So this amazing democracy really comes down to winning over a few thousand people in a swing state. What did I say that was incorrect? What Trump is doing isn't even Socialism, so why is Newsom trying to pretend it is? This is a guy who took pride helping tear down homeless tents for a photo-op. He doesn't give a shit about Progressive policy. What do you think will be different in a primary if he's up against someone like AOC or some other Democratic Socialist candidate? The same Socialist fearmongering BS we see here.

I'm not going to celebrate him because I know his POLICY and HOW HE BEHAVES IN OFFICE.
