Yeah they’ve basically let in a Trojan horse of authoritarianism but in this case the Trojan horse was made of glass.

There is no underpinning ideology beyond consolidating power and enriching himself, that’s why Trump seems to borrow from various political ideologies and the Republican Party is simply the vessel rather than the political principles/ideology.

Whole thing is so morally bankrupt in the most shameless way.
