You know what's worse than western people with power and consumers without any sense for behavioral responsibility having exploited these countries in several ways throughout the decades?

It's people like you that get a hard on by SJW'ing on the internet, blindly talking down every single western effort of doing good and/or providing sustainable aid to reach stability and/or positive development just so they can feel seen as morally superior - without ever backing these views up with holistic consideration or providing (realistic) better ideas. I am a south asian commie . I believe White people have caused innumerable destruction and death ,and they should be judged for those things . But we can't dispute their contributions to the world . The modern world we live in is majorly making of white race. So many selfless white men and women have sacrificed in their life to betterment of world by discovering and inventing so many things. I can surely say I wouldn't have made into adulthood without the ground breaking inventions in medicine by westerners . There are 9 billion people living on earth because of Western men and women . Even Marxism is built on ideas from white philosophers.

I am reminded of a story about the bubonic plague where there was a pope during the time period that never left a circle of torches/burning oil. That there were people whose entire job it was to sweep away the dust of dead fleas killed by the flames as they approached the pope.

Don't know if its true or not, but it's an interesting idea.
