There's nothing I've ever found that says anything lives even mostly on mosquitoes, also only certain types of mosquitoes are even vectors for diseases so it's not like every species needs targeted.

Could is a crazy word. Of course something COULD happen.

It could impact things in a helpful way. Or harmful to some species and helpful to others.

Better to look at it in terms of: Is this likely to make things better or worse?

In this case, it would mean a LOT less insecticides used. Sounds like a win.
