Why are so many musicians removing their music from Spotify?

I was shocked to discover that a couple of songs the algorithm pointed me to, were entirely 'AI Projects'. The songs had very little human input.

On the plus side, the AI music has to fight against their ghost writers to get on playlists etc. I can appreciate that this isn't much solace though.
