They use federal dollars for huge projects like this. Though I agree with your point.

From what I’ve read the only thing the company received was permission to build in Federal waters. The company affected is Orsted, a Danish company. Rhode Island has benefited from the company creating jobs, and also helping them attain their clean energy goals.

The people of Rhode Island might not appreciate the federal government effectively cutting off low cost clean energy and the jobs it creates for no good reason.

The biggest problem is there is no vote for 1.5 years or so. Even then if you think it's not rigged you are a fool. There is probably also a chance that it doesn't even happen.
