Thats why when I like something my friend did or is wearing I usually point that out. Because I know he will do it again.
One example that comes to mind is once I said to a boy that he looked good in the shade of pink he was wearing. Weeks later he showed up with a different shirt but same color and went “ look, like the color you said I looked good in”
