The networks realized they could put all the old sitcom stars (except the Ned’s Declassified gang) to work again instead of letting them twiddle their thumbs on their podcasts.

God, I wish the Ned's Declassified trio weren't such idiots. Ned's Declassified was actually legitimately interesting and different from other Nick shows at the time. I remember being a kid and always hoping for a High School sequel of it.

Now that they've come out and been really annoying on their podcast, I feel like it's tarnished the image of the old show and now even though it used to be looked at fondly a lot of people look back at it poorly.

Wait I haven’t actually listened to it, what’s wrong with their podcast? My understanding was it like told you how to do taxes and stuff?

No it's basically the three of them talking for an hour and a half about how they're upset Nickelodeon won't give them a sequel series on streaming.

Some episodes they'll go on and on about how horny they were as teenagers. They'll talk about how the actress who played Moze from the ages of 15 - 17 got around with the whole cast. Then if another show gets a sequel (you bet your ass we will hear them complain about this show in the next episode) they'll bitch and complain about how Nickelodeon doesn't give them a show more.

What did they say on their podcast?

It was painfully obvious that Devon, who played Ned, was the driving force of the reboot idea because he’s unable to move on from that time.  The only other thing hes seemed to have done was a part in Rust, which will never see light of day.

That sounds miserable. I remember them launching the podcast after fans had wanted a reboot and Nickelodeon said no. Thought I’d heard they were going to do it as a pseudo-sequel in podcast form, and teach lessons on navigating adulthood.

Guess that’s not what ended up happening.
